SERVICE IMPACT: LEGACY BRIDGE ELEVATOR OUTAGE

The Legacy Bridge elevator, located at the west end of the bridge, was vandalized over the Labor Day weekend and is currently out of service.  Crews are working to assess the damage and repair the elevator to working order as soon as possible.  Legacy Bridge remains open and accessible for pedestrians, bikes, and scooters.

Estimated timeline (updated 9/22/22): The University of Utah’s elevator contractor has assessed the damage and crews are working to get it up and running ASAP.  Your ongoing patience is greatly appreciated!

Bikes & Scooters

  • Use the west side stair runnels to push your device up or down the stairs, so you do not have to lift your device. (Runnels are the grooved guides for wheels located next to the stairway)
